Rupesh Paul’s Saint Dracula 3D courts controversy


Rupesh Paul, the director of the controversial Kamasutra 3D, has courted controversy again with his upcoming release, Saint Dracula 3D. The film allegedly contains provoking anti-Christian elements, and some Christian organizations like Kerala Catholic Youth Movement (KCYM), have sought legal support to ban the film on grounds of its anti-Christian contents which may hurt the religious sentiments of the Christian community. 

Dracula has always been portrayed as a blood thirsty demon figure associated with vengeance and horror. Saint Dracula 3D, however explores a very unique side of Dracula and brings out the frantic lover inside him.

Produced by BizTv Network, the project has been designed by Sohan Roy of Dam 999-fame. Saint Dracula 3D has already been screened at various international film festivals and had got listed in this year’s Oscar race in three categories. The movie is expected to release worldwide on March 29.
