There is no dearth of Drs in Sandalwood. Right from Dr Rajkumar to Dr Srinath, there are umpteen numbers of Drs in Sandalwood. But all of them are honorary doctorates recognised by various universities across the country and some also by foreign universities.
But Dr Bharathi who has made her debut as heroine in Ajay starrer Krishna S/O CM is a doctor by profession. Bharathi who has finished her MBBS from Adichunchanagiri College of Medical Sciences was also a medical practitioner for some time before entering films.
However her passion for acting has brought her to Sandalwood and apart from debuting in Krishna S/O CM, the pretty lass has also been receiving offers from other producers and directors.
Sources tell us that Dr Bharathi is likely to act opposite Vijay in Chakravarthy, to be directed by Chintan and another untitled film with Upendra.
