Santhanam, in a lighter vein, has often felt that he never gets a chance to pair up with an actress. It seems his long-time wish will be fulfilled soon.
If sources are to be believed, Sundar C, who is presently directing Madha Gaja Raja, has roped in Gayathri Rao of Gabbar Singh fame as the Santhanam's love interest in the movie.
The actress said, “Sundar saw me in Gabbar Singh and offered this film. I am paired with leading comedian Santhanam.”
Vishal is donning the lead in the film and Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar is playing the female lead. It is touted to be a romantic-entertainer on the lines of Kalakalappu.
Incidentally, the movie has been more in the spotlight for the exiting of actresses like Karthika and Taapsee from the project.
