Film-making is a tough task, it can be said. The director, as it so often (in a clichéd manner) said has a huge responsibility on his shoulders and more often than not takes the plaudits if the movie succeeds and brickbats if it doesn't.
The road as a director is often rocky and the person is burdened with umpteen responsibilities and tasks despite having several assistants and associates to help. Here is one newcomer, who is trying to learn the tricks of the trade from her illustrious family member.
We are talking about Sneha, who is the grand-niece of ace director S A Chandrasekhar, actor Vijay’s father.
Sneha is making (or rather re-making) SAC's yesteryear super hit Sattam Oru Iruttarai now and there has been chatter that he is in fact 'proxy-directing' it. However, the young film-maker is keen to make sure that she is behind the movie.
Sneha says that she is quite enjoying the direction part and pointed out that she was gaining a lot of experience interacting with a director like SAC. She also mentioned that she did not hesitate to take advice from him (SAC).
The cast for the movie includes Thaman Kumar, Reema Sen, Bindu Madhavi and Piaa Bajpai and it is said that one schedule has been completed and things are going as per plans.
