Prabhu, the popular Tamil actor, would be seen in a never-before role of playing the ‘Killer-God’, the ‘Lord Yama’, in the upcoming socio-fantasy entertainer Daruvu. Prabhu has starred in quite a few Telugu films and has impressed Telugu audiences with his roles in films such as Darling and Orange.
Prabhu earned appreciation for his role in Bejawada which ultimately turned out to be a failed venture. Despite the film’s no-show, Prabhu’s dialogue delivery and diction didn’t go unnoticed. It’s exactly for the same reason that he has landed up the role that he has reportedly played with aplomb in Daruvu.
The role essayed by Prabhu had been kept a suspense till now. The bundle of talent that he is, Prabhu is expected to score over many talented actors in Tollywood with this off-beat role. However, a lot would depend on whether he shares a good onscreen rapport with Ravi Teja, the film’s hero.
Daruvu, which would soon be released in theatres, has been directed and scripted by Siva. Ramesh Gopi and Anil Ravipudi have penned the dialogues of the film while Vijay Antony has scored the music.
