There has been some talk about Vetrimaran's next flick Vada Chennai, which is set to explore the unchartered places in North Chennai.
Initially, STR and Telugu star Rana Dagubatti were considered to play pivotal roles. Subsequently, rumours started making the rounds stating that both have dropped out and the national award-winning director was looking for replacements.
Meanwhile, the presence of Kadhalil Vizhunthen star Nakul in Vetri Maran’s sets sparked off talk that the Boys hero had been roped in for a role in Vada Chennai.
However, it came to light that the shooting was for Naan Raja Aaga Pogiren, a film directed by Prithvi Rajkumar for which Vetri has penned the dialogues. It is said that as per a request by the team asking him to be a guest director, he had dropped in on the sets and canned a few scenes. The unit was delighted with him for being such a good sport.
Nakul on his part said that it was a wonderful experience to work with Vetri.
