Sameera Reddy came to Kollywood with a huge reputation and was part of Gautham Vasudev Menon's hit film with Suriya in the lead, Vaaranam Aayiram (2008).
She subsequently featured in his next film Nadunisi Naigal (2011). Apart from that she has featured in various other films and her recent ones were Lingusamy's multi-starrer Vettai and Vishal's Vedi.
However, she has not found a lot of success coming her way and she has struggled to hold her own against the onslaught of newer heroines in Kollywood.
It may be noted that she hasn't been signed for any new projects after Vettai. Even in Tollywood, she does not seem to have too many offers and is said to be doing a guest role in a Kannada film.
It seems her career in Tamil filmdom has been stalled for now and her fans will be hoping she gets a second chance and second wind, too.
