Actor-director S J Suryah is busy now with his romantic-musical Isai. It may be noted that he had expressed a desire to get a few leading directors on board to do cameos.
Now, it seems that he has already completed a sequence with director Vishnuvardhan.
The buzz now is that he is keen and is trying to get the likes of Shankar, Lingusamy and Venkat Prabhu to do the same for Isai. It may be noted that Suryah appeared in a guest role in Shankar's Nanban. As a reciprocal gesture, it is likely that Shankar might say 'yes' to Surya's proposal.
Meanwhile, sources have it that Suryah and cinematographer Sounderrajan are in Karnataka, looking for locations.
Suryah is launching a newcomer, Savithri, as the female lead of Isai. The actor-director said he zeroed in on this particular girl after conducting an audition for over 100 aspiring actresses.
