Urumi is a historical fantasy flick that takes us back in time to the 15th century. Santosh Sivan undrapes the cover of the Great Explorer Vasco Da Gama to reveal the real story of his visit to India and the effects of Colonization on the Malabar Coast with a dash of fantasy.
The film has a star studded cast which includes Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva, Genelia, Vidya Balan, Nitya Menon and Jagathy, who worked their magic in Kerala and Andhra, making the film a Super-hit in both the states.
The dubbed version has released today in Tamil Nadu.
