Heard that chashme buddoor is bering remade by director Onir.

Well I dont think that he would be able to give the same masterpiece, as he is thinking of casting Kareena Kapoor in the role of Ms Chamko (Deepti Naval in original one).

And moreover the chemistry that Rakesh Bedi, Ravi Basvani and Farooq Sheikh had is difficult to get. I am expecting another goof up like RGV ki Aag...... Again a masterpiece is being touched, dont know what will be the outcome!

they cant have the simplicity of the original in this one.. listening to the radio, sharing a smoke - that one scene was 10 mins.. imagine movies these days - they would have had one item song and one matrix-style fight in those 10 mins.. plus the guys will be wearing armani shirts and tag haeur watches and bitch about how poor they are..

I think; they have to now again decide on the star-cast as the remake was starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor......I think; it is not possible......now.. :-)...Probably Saif and Kareena....But I am not sure...it is gonna suit Saif..

yeah.. not sure how they can update the story for the 21 st century..
