Yeah why not take it to the Oscars...well, i would be happy if the Indian public votes this movie over 'Om Shanti Om' coz 'TZP's are not made often, 'OSO's are...wht say frnz?!!
OSO iz also sweet movie...it has all ingredient of entertaining public.Farah has gud insight in luking bck n takin new dishes outta it....n its successful too.Her mixing-matching is matchless.
but TZP is different. It has global appeal.we are the largest movie-roducer in d world, but we fail in global market coz we generally deal with local issues(indian...her i mean).
TZP/Monsoon wedding/RDB etc belong to a diffrent class. We must appreciate this new trend in our films.
somehow,i find now tht ppl r treating this as a movie on some special child, someone outside our normal world......
On the contrary,i think its a movie with a subject very much related to every normal child on this earth.
Don' you find that each of us wanted to tell those feelings to our mothers as kid...even sometime,we want to go back to the same mental frame.
I remember recently,my mother was with me and i was going thru trauma...and i wanted to do the same, but i didn't because i m mother of a 15 yrs old child...so it was unbecoming of me.
I am not going into the idea of Oscars or filmfare, because what Filmfare awards mean here, Oscar means in Hollywood. So they are no calibration grounds for a movie to be rated as very good or very bad.
