Films are the windows of the Nation - Do you agree?

Movie Reviews - At a Glance:

Folks according to me – films are the windows of a Nation….just like eyes are windows of the soul. Thus I have more or less learnt a whole lot of life’s philosophy by watching movies intently. Yes folks – ‘intently’ is the word – the point where you all are different from me. Often during my childhood I was asked to just ‘see’ the movie – keep the brains shut ..but I could never excel in that art – maybe the rest of the Indians are Paramhansas (royal Swans) so they saw only that they wanted to see…but I saw, heard, understood, sensed and assimilated. Thus my reviews will appear rather shocking at face value – but read it the second time – you will certainly see the sense….I have a lot of faith in Indians actually – I’m sure one day they will see the sense in my movie reviews … lol.

Aap ka Suroor – a real love story of a Hero who weaved his hair only in the last scene of the movie !! In the rest of the movie – he was wearing a cap….on his head of course.

http://www.creativity.itsybitsy.co.in/sept07/cheenikum.htm

Cheeni Kum – the last of the trilogy – Jogger’s Park . Nishabd. And now – Cheeni Kum. A movie which could have been exceptionally sweet had Tabu’s age been shown as 55 or 56 – as either a Widow, Spinster or Divorcee.

Ta Ra Rum Pum - A movie of blokish parents – and how the children born to such nincompoops suffer endlessly !!

http://www.creativity.itsybitsy.co.in/sept07/jhoombarabar1.htm

Jhoom Barabar Jhoom – where the fantasies of the ‘commoner’ comes alive…and shows how he/she wastes his/her life in frivolous pursuits ..and also what smooth liars Indians can be !!

http://www.creativity.itsybitsy.co.in/sept07/metrolife.htm

Life in A Metro – Life style of  wasteful and shameless blokes – how they behave once they have enough money !

http://www.creativity.itsybitsy.co.in/sept07/partner1.htm

Partner – A comedy showing how dumb the Indian women still are !

http://www.creativity.itsybitsy.co.in/sept07/train.htm

The Train – Showing how a child can turn out to be a curse for parents !

Umrao Jaan – Showing – No way out – Once a Prostitute, always a Prostitute !

Your Reviews are a classic example of cynicism.

Re: Films are the windows of the Nation - Do you agree?

lol first

your reviews are bad, really bad ones... your over the board dissection of the movie and then the path your reviews take are pathetic... somehow they have to eventually reach out to "female as sex object" or "decent girl vs one who has shed all her sharam" or "sex starved males" and what not...

and yes, i did read your reviews twice just to see if some magic happens... alas, nothing happened...

hehehehehehe

I read the reviews thrice, and no magic happened. I am fed up of reading all the reviews on the same track....

here it goes...

i had read your reviews only on chakpak till now and not on your itsy-bitsy website... today i managed to read up some of them and could figure out only one thing... all u look for in a movie is the *occassion to correlate any event/ dialogue with something sexual* and i must tell u, your imagination is really *wild* and *pitiable*... from my side feel free to imagine that your reviews will have so profound a social impact that it will eradicate all social evils (like there will be no dowry deaths etal)...
