I think it was pretty good. Though i still think the last one was better.

nice movie.. the 2nd half specially.. MBBS was better though..

Actually I found the movie to be little dragging. Esp. the 2nd half. The gandhian fundas were way too many. There were few good sequences in the 1st half. - the college one and sanjay dutt's first appearence on radio - vinamrata sein sab kuch hota hai :)

but Vidya Balan was amazing in the movie, shew was looking gorgeous

Best thing is they made quite an independent sequel. Although there is no continuation of the story from first part, characters were pretty much on the same theme. Good to see munnabhai and circuit back with a blast.

shantanu doesn't know what he's saying, which is obvious to loyal subscribers of chakpak, who have read his silly views that don2 is not as good as don1. in reality, lagey raho munnabhai is much better than munnabhai mbbs. also note that it's a completely original movie, while munnabhai mbbs was slightly inspired by patch adams, an english movie starring robin williams and monica potter.

hspraveen is talking through his hat. If munnabhai mbbs was indeed inspired from the hollywood movie patch adams, y would hollywood buy the rights to munnabhai mbbs and remake it (work in progress). munnabhai mbbs was not just a comedy, it was an emotional movie with a couple of touching scenes (the scenes with sanjay dutt and his parents, jadoo ki jhappi with the janitor).. lage raho was more of a comedy and a very good comedy at that.

lagey raho has popularized gandhiji, so it also has a social conscience

hs praveen hasnt read this thread properly, infact I think he has read just one thread and jumped to conclusion ...well just to summarize I never said that this movie is better or worst, I was just commenting on Vidya Balan!!!

both movies were very good... just to add even some of the british medical journals looked at the munnabhai mbbs if the funda can actually work in curing patients (a placebo?)... i dont think i was too impressed by gandhigiri in lrmb as such than the whole continuity of the movie and chemistry between munna and circuit... and the same thing is true for mbbs also...

just as a side note i dont think gandhigiri works today and that gandhiji got india freed... he was a great person and perhaps thats it... so am not too impressed by ppl taking up gandhigiri as after effects of this movie... ppl did same after watching RDB...

another note... hspraveen seems to have taken comments abt don 2 too personally... this deal about "shantanu commented so and so in another post so all his comments in this post are void" looks childish :-)... grow up dude!! :-)))

even I agree to the gandhigiri aspect, this is a matter of debate that ahimsa was hit or not , ppl  might have different opinions about it! but the best part was circuit and Munnabahi, I liked the film because of this aspect.

even i feel that hspraveen needs to grow up.. he needs to accept the fact that his views are always wrong..
