khayyam  s early carrier was full of hardls.but he never fell insecure.and gave just melodious music.his first chartbuster was kabhi kabhi,.then he became very papulaor.his memorable films are umro jaan,dil-e-nadaan,thodi se bewafai,razia sultan trishul amar deep,

in my opinion roshan is little better then khayyam.both were  the kings of melody.but roshan was more successfull
