Nishabd--MOvi e is similar to its title speechless(No need to speak about this movie)

Now I do not know why Ram Gopal Verma wanted to teach us the meaning of a Hindi word by a two hour movie. The title is fitiing cause

1.No one except Amitabh is speaking much in the movie

2.IN scenes when Amitabh is supposed to speak he is nishabd(quiet like hell).

3.And there is this idiot girl who speaks the same two words every five words she speaks -TAKE LIGHT.

The movie does not have a second half. The first half has been tried to be made interesting by good locations but the movie definitely lacks a plot.Sometimes movie is going on to the sexual track then emotional a bit of comedy and then pathetic.

In between, every 20 mins or so , all of sudden this proffessor Amitabh(with a shaal) comes up for no reason at all and starts long bhashan which are difficult to understand cause 1 can never pay so much attention to those boring details.

Revathi is totally wasted in this movie.I still remember revathis flick with salman and so many of her movies.REVATI never pick up such movies in future. You still have a good fan following .Please do not disappoint us next time.

Only freshness in this movie is Shraddha Arya, with her character of Ritu.Iits Jiah who has exposed in this movie with really small or negligible clothes. But its shraddha who looks more beautiful and cute not to mention sweeter than jiah. She has really made a nice start and was at ease throughout the movie. This girl will definitely make it in the long run.

As far for RGV, sir what if u wanna show that u r a Hollywood style director with no songs and 2 hour movies but we expect the movies to atleast have a second half. One really feels that the writer was paid to write only the first half and the second half is just glued on to the movie.

So if any of the nishabd crew feel bad after reading this review i give you one piece of advice ---TAKE LIGHT

would agree... i think the punch line of the movie should have been "some movies are never meant to be made...", jiah khan was an irritating character, i just could not appreciate how can anyone fall in love with her :-)...

I think the reason he fell in love with her was that she was different from anyone he s met before.. his family is normal and is naturally attracted to someone who is different (disturbed?)

I sorta agree  with deepak. Jiah was irritating in the movie, because she was possibly mean to be irritating. - and so its not fair to default her for that. But the love story moved too fast ..

I disagree.

The character Vijay, was in love with jiah, because for the first time in his life, Vijay was able to speak out his mind. For the first time in his life his passion for photography was understood and appreciated by some else. Its become very normal then to start liking the person who can understand you.

On the other hand, it was clearly mentioned by Vijay, in an answer to the character played by Nasser, that jiah was too young to understand these emotions.

Though i havent watch the film i have heard about it and now has seen the reviews but iam surprised to know amitabh bachchan doing such kind of roles and  i think it would be horrible to watch  amitabh bachchan is falling in love with jiah and vice versa which is not convincing in any way and even before this so many movies have been made on this story joggers park is one such film  where old guy falls in love with young girl i think such films should not be made this neither does appeal to sense first of all and at the same time it is not sending a right signal too

Jogger's park was still better. The buildup there was slow and convincing. In Nishabd it was rocket fast and lustful :) ...

I agree with Nitin , I was watching Joggers park over the weekend , and probably its a very mature Love story, where finally both (The Judge and Perizaad) understand that they come from two different backgrounds, and probably they cannot spoil their children's lives just because they love somebody.

In Nisabd I didnt like the part when Jiah Khan asked Amitabh "You Love your Wife??" and Amitabh took a long time to answer that question, well I dont think that during that time he was in love with Jiah

Even Lamhe (film made on similar theme) is far better and gracefully presented that Nisabd, Probably RGV should stop directing films now, he is better as a producer

I disagree..  RGV is terrible as a producer.. He s a much better director.. The only decent movies as a producer in the last couple of years have been 'Ek Hasina Thi' and 'D'.. But as a director I think he has given 5 absolute classics to Bollywood. That is more than Karan Johar and Farhan Akthar put together (no disrespect to Farhan Akthar as I love his movies but I mean the disrespect to KJ)
