hi guys  yesterday, i enjoyed discussing about underrated actors   today i would like to discuss on overrated and overhyped actors with u guys well, in my opinion abhishek bachchan and emraan hashmi are two overrated actors who dont deserve this kind of attention.what do u say guys?

Hrithik Roshan are Fardeen Khan definetly on my list.. Hrithik just cannot do comedy and he falls flat everytime he tries to be funny and Fardeen cannot act. period..

yes fardeen khan he is overrated Hrithik is good yes he cannot do comedy or may be has never tried it but not overhyped

Hrithik was good in Koi Mil gaya thats it and it had no comedy in it if u forget the kiddie stuff. He tried to be funny in Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon and it was sp annoying ... Nisha I actually disagree with you views on Abhishek Bachchan.. maybe bcoz I m a bachchan addict but I thought he was excellent in Guru and he actually had the guts to put on weight for a role and he even showed his paunch to the camera.. these days all these actors are image conscious that Hrithik ROshan did not want to grow a moustache for Jodhaa-Akbar and wanted a nakli mooch..

I also find abhishek to be overhyped. Himesh is definitely in the list. Even Preity Zinta for that matter - she is pathetic in every movie after DCH..

Why would Abhishek not be over hyped?

If you or me had belonged to "THE" family of Bollywood would you not be over hyped????????

Shantanu and Nisha, you would have been equally hyped. But is that the parameter for performance, then it is not even worth performing for an actor.

Please do not tag him to that stature. Consider him equal to any actor in the league. Give the actor his space.

He may not be at the top of his league but he has created his own space with movies like "Bunty aur Bubli" and "Bluffmaster". I have always heard actors saying that some roles were offered to them but for some reason some one else got them and ultimately the replaced actors got all the credit and beneft. THAT IS WHAT DESTINY IS!!!!!! Is that not how life has instore for all of us.

He is an actor who is worth watching for and it is us (as a public) who is responsible for over hyping him not him.

Do you think that we can have actors like Om Puri or Anupam Kher (for his acting in "Saraansh") in this age in Cinema but even at that the Amitabh's or Dharamendra's we were still ruling the industry. So the industry is like that and so is the public.

I strongly think that we should let him label him for anything.

I feel that Sharukh is a very over rated actor as far as his acting skills are concerned. Although at the same time I agree that he has some sort of on screen charisam which just attracts us to his movies but his acting is pathetic. It may be because he has risen from what we all are today.

He is just another struggling and talented actor who wants to come out of his father's shadow. Believe this is not an easy task to accomplish if you are the son of the "BIG B"

see puja well i do find him as overhyped belonging to the first family of bollywood that is not the justification see how he gets unneccessary attention abhishek is jst an average actor and he is often compared to his father i dont agree on this he stands no where infront of his father not only that hrithik was a way better than abhishek in dhoom2

I agree abhishek himself is not responsible for being hyped up. In all the interviews etc he behaves pretty neatly. But as son-of- big b, people(girls !)  associate an expectation and an aura with him. Also Big B himself has said that abhishek is better than him (after guru).

Point is whether u like it or not; u want it or not; whether abhishek hyped up himself or not . Abhishek is hyped. Not his mistake but he is hyped. 

My personal opinion is that sometimes he acts better than okayish  (guru,bunty-n-bubbly); sometimes he is too terrible (dhoom 2)

Nitin may be u are right well its matter of choice some may agree and some may disagree with my views

btw besides abhishek i have also mentioned emraan hashmi wot do u guys say

howcome u guys forgot aishwarya rai  she shud top this list infact  irrespective of long list of flops she always manages to get attention probably the worst actress

Mallika sherawat another actress her films crash at the box office but she also is overhyped 

@abhishek bachhan - i think the expectations were huge due to the bachhan tag and he disappointed every bit initially... however i think he has improved a lot, i did not like him in much of his initial movies but off late, yuva, dus, bluff master, bunty aur babli, sarkar, guru have made me change my mind... he has done pretty well in all of these... so if we leave the 3 khans and try to look for anyone else he and hrithik would be in that list for sure... they are not superstars because they deserve to be but becoz there is no better replacement...

@hrithik - i find him really bad in comedy and even in emotional roles he is too weepy at times... mujhse dosti karoge, he tried to be comic and he was pathetic... his success story is that he has literally danced up the ladder, this one thing is exceptional about him... the dance steps and his body become one and u cannot make out he is dancing :-)... he is stylish with pretty good body though he has not abused it as much as sallu... he has lots of flops to his credit too and some hits... 

@emraan hashmi - his movies dont run becoz of him, they are more of musical blockbusters... i dont think he is even rated as an actor :-)... 

 my 3 cents...

FARDEEN kHAn, SaiF ali Khan, ArjuN rampal, Harman Baaweja.....this tym i really hv only 4 actors... i ll tell u few mor vry soon.............:p
