Rani won for best actress in Kabhie Alvida Na Kehna.One of the shittest movies I've ever seen.

u r so right jade. Rani M. is so shit, and kank is one of the shittiest movie that can ever be made..

on side note - we dont have a review of kank. Can someone write that so that we prevent fellow users from watching that movie :)

give me some one else who can occupy the position... i am not saying just becoz i am a big fan :-)... i mean it... the tier 1 of actresses would be rani, priety, aishwarya and perhaps priyanka chopra... priety has almost lost out, aishwarya - not many ppl like her acting skills which is indeed true, she is no match... priyanka chopra has climbed up the ladder very fast but still not there, i have found her success a mix of 0.7*sex appeal + 0.3*acting skills :-)... and its only rani who has been appreciated for her performances more often than others... 

and one more clarification, since we are into this number theory of #1 and 2 etc... its mostly to do with typical commercial cinema... this is not based purely on their acting skills... its the crowd pulling factor as well which matters a lot...

Well come to the point,I agree to Dinrat to some extenet ,Rani was doing good ,But not anymore,. Dont beleive me ,oke watch Tararumpum.She is looking sick,may be the movie was sickest movie of the year so far(among which i ve seen :))

kareena ke deewane theek hain... but she is neither considered a very good actress and nor she is crowd puller... uski filmography checkout maaroge to u will be surprised, she does not have too many hits to her credit.. and definitely not any in which she has been appreciated a lot... solo hits are missing like anything!

i did not watch kank due to johar camp and hamming srk... so cant comment on that... though my comments are more on top of n_zamana...

Ta Ra Rum Pum was the best movie i have seen this year so far! Rani was so great in there and she looked amazing!!! If you look at her acting in older films it is not as good as now she has evolved so much as an actress and deserves to win awards. Have to agree though Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was a shit movie!

Rani was too good in Yuva, however I didnt like the movies Ta ra rum pum and KANK!

Rani's best movies till date is humtum(and i wont say black,it falls in different category )

rani came into the picture just becoz of her performance in black in hum tum she was ok

as for the movie kank,have to agree with u it was a bad movie rani was ok in that one  the worst i can say was shahrukh khan

i think it was saathiya which got her back into limelight... after there she consistently climbed up... before saathiya she was in bad shape doing movies like bichhu and baadal etal... hum-tum/ black happened much later...

i think shahrukhs performance in KANK was pretty good... its the story that was crap but the actors were fine... in my opinion

kabhi alvida na kehna sux rani mukherji and priety zinta rox. the only part i like is wen priety zinta slaps shahrukh. thats the best part. shit movie. no good songs. kinda funny parts but eww. i fell so...........so sorry for karan johar.

i agree kank was a bad movie as for the performance i think everybody has played their part well

that was succhhh aa flooppp movie man.... the story was stupid everything abt the movie was stupid , stupid and STUPIDD!!! i hate that moviee...

i would have to say that everyone is against that movie just for the plan fact that it did not have a happy ending... but was of two married couple who destroyed there relationship to be with eachother because they found a common ground amongst themselves...

honestly do you hate the movie or did you hate the actors... i believe that you hate the movie... they were superb in the movie... acted out the character to perfection that it made you hate srk and rani for destroying there family and loves ones...

you should never hate a movie for it's differences... it's only true that in reality... alot of couples are going through this...

oh and just for a fact kank was a super hit overseas...

so in other words you've just proved yourselfs wrong... cause rani is a superb actress... she can dig into the skin of her character and bring it to life... and that... not a lot of actress can do...

Julie , i don't hate the movie cuz i hate the actors cuz i don't hate the actors...its just abhi i hate and he was cool in that movie... but i hate the movie cuz how can srk be so shameless and leave his little son...and wht preity did to him was really good...and i hav nothing against not happy ending...i mean  itz just a movie....but that movie was like really crapp....and abt acting they acted gr8 in the movie but the story was flop!!...

that movie was a good movie & actually thought you stuff such as dont get married so early when you're not even in love or love the person & to me that movie was so good & my all time favorite movie! people have opinions but i guess yall dont got good taste & rani acted so good in that movie! she is the best actress now! her acting is better than all the other actresses to me but yea! thats from my point of view. 

oh i know... nilab...  kank was a total different movie... to be honest i really didn't like it the first time i saw it... but when i got to thinking about it... there are lots and lots of families here in usa that goes through all that... sometimes they don't think about family... they only think about themselves... some husbands even kill there wives because she cheated like rani did in the movie... so yeah i've seen that movie one time and it's just sitting there in my collection...  so i understand what your saying...

& i know that movie was fucked up since shahrukh left his family but it wasnt like he left them forever! he juss got a divorce from preity cuz he didnt love her in the movie but he went & met them sometimes! i think if you living with someone you dont love, its not right! the right thing is to never even marry someone you dont love or have feelings for & this movie basically tells you & the songs are GREAT! i even have the CD of the songs in this movie but once again these are my opinions*

Rani is my favorite actress. She is very cute, naughty and beautiful girl. She can act in any type of role. I think her best acted film is ‘BLACK’ in her life.
