How about this guys!!! Salman has been a huge star for the last decade and a half inspite of acting with very average directors while SRK has worked with the best of banners, directors and scripts and still struggling to come up with credible performances and can only claim to have immature teenage girls and hspraveen to be his true fans..

no doubt Slman is better than SRK, All SRK knows is to sell biscuits and Lux!!!!

at least srk doesn't drive on footpath, and kill endangered species for his afternoon meal :-)

well hspraveen I dont think that it would be good to go into the personal lives of these actors, I think we were discussing the on screen performances

and by the way atleast Salman doesnt bash up ppl and guards when called to recieve an award (SRK Did that when Presdident of India called him to recieve an award)

hspraveen, that matter is still in court and the verdict hasnt been given and I think it would be immature on your part to speculate as to what happened that fateful night...

btw the copycat salman is following srk's footsteps now - he's going to remake amar akbar anthony with his brothers sohail & arbaaz to also star in it.

the remake of Amar Akbar Anthony was announced more than a couple of yrs ago but the start has been delayed due to his court appearances.. and anyway we all know that SRK shot into fame by surviving on roles rejected by Salman khan (Baazigar) and Aamir Khan (Darr) and sucking upto the Yash Chopra family and Johar family.. Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have principles and they do not reduce their remuneration just because of Yash Chopra's name.. Just so that u know SRK's forthcoming movie - Chak De India was first offered to Salman but he rejected it coz he was not going to be paid his market rate.

no its not arrogance.. it shows that he doesnt compromise on his principles unlike SRK who is ready to endorse anything as long as he's paid well..

one thing i hate about srk is that he really likes ppl licking up his tes***les, look at how that "gubba" (gay) karan johar keeps licking him during the awards ceremonies or for that matter all the heroines... i am sure all of them hate him actually and they are licking him just to get the into this johar/ chopra camp as the order of money there is much bigger... i wud have preferred a more modest person...

i would never go to a movie to watch SRK act, his acting is so obnoxious but can go to watch if sallu bhai is the hero..

I know I started this thread but after watching salaam-e-ishq and listening to some of Salman's recent interviews where he speaks in a fake firangi accent, I m beginning to change my mind.. right now, Id rate Aamir Khan and Saif Khan as the best actors among the Khans. I d have Irrfan Khan too in this list but he likes to addressed only as Irrfan.

sallu is gud lukin wid sexy body.. srk is gud in emotional scenes..

sallu's roles doesnt suit srk and srk's roles doesnt suit sallu.. they both r gud and bout the killing of ppl on footpath its his own business i dnt mind in tht.. his work his prb.. i like his style and his lucky bracelet he alwayz have in movies also

If talking about on screen performance, look at the SRK's best movies like Swades & Chak De (the best movie of his whole career).

In fact I'm not a great fan of Shahrukh, But he deserves the place of King of Bollywood, coz he has proven that. He has proven the things by his two sensitive movies.

& talking about both the Khan's personal life, people always look at filmstar's personal life. their personal life affects their career also.

& I have never felt Salman's acting is great or what.

Films like Maine Pyaar Kiya or Hum Aapke hai kaun, show his acting, that he is good at his level, but not better than other actors.

If talking about Hum Dil De chuke Sanam, Ajay Devgan's performance was ten times better than Salman's. Even though Ajay enters in the second half of the movie. Ajay deals with a great attitude in this movie, & leaves impact on people's mind.

I know this discussion is about two Khans,

Sometimes both of them come on same level as hit or flops.

Even Salman has played some roles, those are serious but not sensitive one. People have admired his role in GARV.

& sometimes both of them play senseless roles.

So that I don't think anyone is better than other one.

This is my personal view. & not necessary that everybody should be agree with this.

Deepak, if you are saying that SRK is struggling till now, you are wrong then. If u watch Swades & Chak De... u will be knowing sensitivity of the actor. & his success also.
