Just saw this news item - its finally salman's turn. 

"Actor Salman Khan was taken into police custody at Jodhpur airport on Saturday afternoon.

Thereafter, the actor's lawyers filed an appeal against his 5-year jail sentence in the 1998 Chinkara poaching case.

However, Khan has currently been taken to jail and is likely to be in prison for at least three to four days.

On Friday, the Jodhpur Sessions court had dismissed Khan's appeal against his conviction."

WTF... wot is the point in 3-4 days in jail. they may as well not punish him at all.

Hey sonam - I am not sure if it is a 3-4 days jail - Its a full 5 years jail !!.. I think he can still go to higher courts and appeal against the decision but the term is 5 years which is a huge time !!

ooooh. Did you hear about Nicole Richie, she had 4 days in prison but because the cells were full she only had to go in for a day!

Just heard that Salman got bail !

JODHPUR: The Rajasthan High Court on Friday granted bail to Bollywood actor Salman Khan, nearly a week after he was sent to jail in connection with the chinkara poaching case.

The court, while hearing the revision petition along with bail application filed by the actor, ordered his release on a security of Rs 1 lakh and a bond of Rs 50,000.

The next date of hearing of the revision petition has been fixed on October 24

Anybody who has done a mistake has to be punished......wheather it's celebrity or a common people. Good that salman got to realise that "mistakes are punished"

plz if keep searching thru past years we find a dozens of artist into something which would have been wrong.the only problem is that salmans news sells so thats the only reasons y these ppl drag the innocent salman into news.this is unfair

oh and it was paris hilton not nicole richie that got out of the jail sentence because it was to full... dont worry she went back and finished her sentencing...
