Can anyone update me about the movie which is reportedly being made on the world's greatest epic ever the  Mahabharat by Ravi Chopra. If reports are to be believed then the movie is being made in collaboration with the crews of "The Lord of the rings". And the movie The Mahabharata is supposed to be one of the most expensive till date in the history of Bollywood.And the movies starcast would include all the biggest stars from both Bollywood and the southindian Fil Industry including all the Three big Khans of Bollywood. Can Someone please enhance my knowledge about the movie with their valuable inputs about the movie? In fact i am really excited about the movie because if such a movie is really made then it would be a treat  to all the movie viewers.

sounds great. I wonder why did Bollywood take such long to make a movie on the greatest epic of all time like Mahabharat. But I wonder how are they going to present it . Because it is not very easy to present Mahabharat in just 3 hrs. i wish they make the movie in sequels so that they can focus on the major (if not all) events of the epic. even i would also be looking forward to it.

i really wonder how will all these big actors with their even bigger egos manage together?... but if it comes out it will be the biggest coup in the history of bollywood... these 3 khans have been ruling the bollywood for last 20 yrs... it does not get any bigger than this :-)...

yeah it seems that the entire film industry has come in one single movie, well I am just curious to know the cost involved in making this movie ;-)

I have this idea of making Mahabharat movie so I started a research if anyone is making one. I see Bepen Bedi have already thought of it. Damm it!!

I have the total idea of how awesome I can make this movie in 3 to 4 hours.

anyway,do you guys think many will watch my epic maha after the lauch of Bepen Bedi's epic, the prodcer of Mangal Pandey....

would you watch the Epic produce by someone else who is making a movie 1st time in his career. lol!!! Thats funny but I am creative and have the confident. I wanna make it for our young genration who will appreciate more.. 

I am thinking to display the whole mahabharat Story in 4 hours. 

movie on mahabharata sounds good idea to me. It would have the widest appeal . If made good, I think it  can be the biggest superhit in india. The mahabharata serial was such a big hit in india. The movie should be a hit too.. One can also think of an animation around it, instead of a normal movie.  Mahabharata has several sub-stories, and in fact any of them can be an individual movie too .. Like hanuman (just that it was too fast)

I am not sure if making a 4 hour movie makes sense. It should be like a trilogy atleast.  4 hours is too long and it upsets movie theatre owners normal scheduling.
