dude not sure if u know this.. but Rakhi sawant has been around for a while and has acted in Z grade movies before making it as an item girl..

i vaguely remember she was caught in one of those sting operations also... i think she knows the industry has quite a lot of money to offer and making sure that gets her cut... mallika sherawat did the same thing, bold comments, sexy image and what not... now she is trying to be a long runner by improving on her acting skills and yeah, she did impress in pyaar ke side effects...

Good comment Dinrat........who does not do bold scenes.....to make their image in the bollywood.every actress are ready to act in bold scenes....i dont think rakhi is doing anything wrong......making bold scenes, sexy item numbers have become a serious business in bollywood.

i would still special case raakhi and mallika... on screen is what everyone does but they made it a point to do it off screen also, to stay in news, to be known for this very thing... remember mallika's outfit when she was promoting myth or her debut movie khwahish which is better known for her 17 onscreen smooches (and umpteen number of retakes ;-) or rakhi's stunt with mika...

yes I agree to that but I would still prefer Mallika over Rakhi, atleast that lady knows how to speak in public....

I think boldness has a limit in bollywood but with Ms Sawant there is no limit, I would say that Priyanka Chopra is a gracefull actress, she has a lot of oomph factor, but she has a different way of portraying it, and off screen also she knows how to talk in public.

and in Aaj Tak i was watching that Karrol and jhanvi - two item girls get 50,000 per 2 hours - they supply the clients/customers cocaine and then they strip tease and then they...ahem cough .....and here we are getting up early in the morning - running after buses - coming home after overtime and getting rs. 3000/- per month !!.....kolkatans are very poorly paid for the same amount of labor folks...thats what we have so many bandhs etc....

Dont get wild...........there's nothing to be serious about the topic... as its just for fun...but every girl who wants to make her image in bollywood has to give their attention to media wheather its good or bad.......rakhi might have done the same thing.....there's nothing wrong in it. It's not that easy to be a star.....hope you too know this.

@aumapurna - i dont get the references to kolkata and all and the comparison in renumeration etc... and then giving reason for bandh... you seem to switch the context between movies and social issues quite often and at times i dont see the connection... i am sure all of this happens in kolkata also and ppl have chosen as per their needs/ values/ desires what they want and how they want...

yeah! quite like yester-eras - ravana and kauravas..and many of thier kinds - they had a kingdom and were living happily ever aftr...but still  Lord Vishnu incarnates and finishes them....for no reason at all i guess - at least thier subjects were happy and gay ....with their respective kings...the reason why they fought for them ...till their death.....

there is a deep connection - between movies and social mesg...to be used for reforming - or else why shud the wasteful fools rule over the minds of the youths...the entire nation in fact.....

are you explaining the bandhs in kolkata? or are you saying that if for the so called "same amount of labor" kolkatans get paid as much as the item girls u wont have bandhs?... 

do u realise why are 'bandhs' called in the first place? why ppl don't want a normal life and create a ruckus - knowing very well that it can anytime prove to be fatal.......they are fighting for something... their 'rights' they say....and all 'rights' - if you study closely ultimately reach a point where dearth of money ...and thus a decent livelihood - is pinpointed.

why do ppl work? for food and shelter....and creature comforts...and more creature comforts - and on top of it - the ppl with whole lot of creature comforts are advertising the usefulness of such things...creating a desire - unnecessary desire - but who wud define necesary and unnecessary...well to some extent the movies show the futility of all riches - they show - but do not practice what they preach - thus even if their is some mesg in the movei - it gets side tracked - bcoz every human being thinks that MONEY, power and fame is what we have come on earth for.....

Bollywood is changing and even india is becoming the liberal country..........Anybody who's offered good money will be ready to do any kind of roles...any kind of item numbers....i dont think rakhi alone is a victim, there are many such actresses who are ready for any kind of roles.........dear friend bollywood is changing.

Rakhi Savant an interesting discussion. In the world of timid Indian women who time and again flock together bring forward voice of women empowerment and then go back to the same Indian society Rakhi Savant and Mallika Sherawat have taken a stand.

They have gained the attention of every body in the country for whatever be the reason. I feel it is good that they can take a stand on what they are doing. It dosnt matter if they use their clevage to gain all the attention. But they are better then the other heroins who are in news because of one affair or the other but never for a good reason. I could frequently see Rakhi shouting with her unplesent voice in TV news channels discussing social issues. I would say with her deep neck dresses if Rakhi can draw attention to even one social issue it is worth it. I have not seen any other actress working for a social cause other then Sabana Azami. 

I know the ways used by Rakhi are vulgur and obnoxious but they do make sense some times so it is better then other celebrities who have nothing to talk about apart from their relationships and there roles in the movies.

do u realise why even a single social issue could not achieve anything worthwhile ? - itz bcoz of such clevage showed 'teat' heads that spoil the entire effort - people assemble to catch a glimpse of such dull headed bimbos and they always are in the lime light so as to maintain a constant flow of clients....its a fact !

I would say Meneka Gandhi came out with an excellent idea to castrate the street dogs - take care of them till they die - thus curbing over populated streets with street dogs and litters and the unpleasant sight during breeding season....and dog bite cases and rabies...she had given this idea in the 80's - if it had been followed India wide by now - all the states of India wud have been stray dog free...

but this idea was not implemented effectively...u know why? one of the reasons - everytime Mrs Meneka Gandhi does something worth praising - the media talks abt it all right - but along with that they insert a small photo of hers (clad in a towel -mere khwabo main jo aaye kinds) - she had taken while she had done a probably single towel advt. in her youth!! so you see - this is called wicked MEdia world...or man's world......they are always reminding ppl that 'Boss she is a great woman alright ...but pssst remember her towel clad scene?' - and all the jhahil ganwaars - that majority of Indians are see to it that they stop all doors for progress - why!? bcoz the idea comes from a woman !!

basically still STILL - femals are being used /propagated as a sex objects only ...and the dumb daughters of greedy parents are fulfilling the desires of egoistic blokes !

Apparently Aumapurna thare is no benefit in hiding things, keep everything in open and then I guess a society would evelove, these scenes are getting so much attaention that "sex" is taboo in Indi.... just leave it the it is... and everything would be fine.
