 like hrithik ,abishek and etc, but in one of the interview sharukhan 

said "iam the last superstar in the bollywood and there will be

no super stars forever in bollywood.

do you agree with sharuk or if u don'nt agree ,say who was the

super star in bollywood now and why.

Well I think this is pretty clear:

Love him or hate him Shahrukh Khan is the present Superstar in Bollywood

and all time biggest Superstar: Amitabh! 

yeah, srk rules the BO... i think if he does more variety of roles other than the mushy romantic or the artificially emotional ones he might become even more popular :-)... swades was different and good... i am hoping chak de india would also be different...

at the smae time the comment that he is the last superstar of bollywood seems so true. There are so many talented new comers, and the problems is that there are too many ! .. I think noone would be able to get the demi-god status. The era of superstars seems to be over soon. In case of actress's its already over - there is no reigning superstar amongst them

shah rukh khan is present superstar.but he is not alltime big superstar at all. all time superstar is one and only rajendra kumar.the piode of india. shah rukh khan is not last superstar.its not the end of superstar era.Hrithik roshan would be next superstar.he deliverd two big blockbusters last year.he is also very famous among crowd.

I agree with you, if you consider the actresses the last "star" I can recall is Madhuri Dixit, even Kajol wasnt able to reach that stage, the same seems to be true with the actors, if we consider Hrithik, abhishek and the laegue of new actors then they are all the same, somebody is good in emotional roles, somebody is good in style, but I think they lack a complete package and a killer instinct, which Sharukh Khan has

Second point here is, all these actors (Hrithik, Abhishek etc) are around 34-35 years of age, so they do not have much time to claim the ultimate seat of superstar!

well guys why do u always forget dilip kumar he is the superstar  not big as big b but  yes he is legendary actor

Rajendra kumar is one and only superstar of bollywood.

he is still,alltime great superstar .in my opinion ,he is all time great actor of world cinme.

presently,he was not famous .beacause media is not highlighting hiis class.so, its not the fault of young generation that they do not know about him.its the fault of media.

SRK is the present superstar of Bollywood although he's not so superb in acting performances. And by the way Shantanu, he's also not a complete package either.

                                          But mark my words, Shahrukh is not the last superstar of Bollywood, very soon, if luck favours, Aftab Shivdasani will snatch his superstardom. Affy is what we call, a complete, neat, natural and decent package of looks, attitude, personality, innocence ( genuine, not apparent mind it ), decency and of course, outstanding acting skills and  mindblowing performance delivery capabilities. The only aspect that Aftab needs is luck which will favourable for him to deliver consistent hit/superhit/blockbuster movies which will ultimate cement his position right from a commercially stable Bollywood hero to a superstar, or if possible megastar. And he's a terrific actor and much much much better actor than SRK, Salman, Hrithik, Akshay Kumar or Abhisekh. He's one of the greatest actors India has today and bears the potential not only to be a superstar but also a LEGEND.
