Kahaani remake named Anamika?
As already reported, Kahaani, the Hindi film which had Vidya Balan in the lead role is being remade into Telugu by Sekhar Kammula. The film will have Nayanthara playing the role of Vidya Balan.
Nagarjuna to take over as producer of Autonagar Surya?
The new subject of discussion in Tollywood is whether Naga Chaitanya’s Autonagar Surya film will see the light of the day or not. The question is pointed at Akkineni family which has never faced any kind of disappointment in the careers of Nageswara Rao and Nagarjuna. Vathikuchi to release on March 15?
Director A R Murugadoss, who rode the success wave with Vijay's Thuppakki is busy these days on the production front.
He is gearing up for the release of Vathikuchi jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Murugadoss Productions, who also made Engeyum Eppothum. Vathikuchi is supposed to be an urban thriller written and directed by newcomer Kinslin.
The movie has Murugadoss's brother Dileepan and Anjali in the lead roles. Buzz is that Vathikuchi is slated to release on March 15.
Pawan Kalyan to turn lawyer?
According to latest reports, Pawan Kalyan will be playing the role of a small time lawyer in a film that is to be directed by Krish.
It is believed that Krish has narrated a story, with a lawyer being the protagonist and that Pawan Kalyan is very happy with it. Krish is now developing the script and writing the screenplay, while the hero is busy shooting for Trivikram Srinivas’s film in Pollachi.
An official confirmation regarding the project is awaited.
Kamal Haasan to act in N Shankar’s film?
After a very long gap, Kamal Haasan is likely to do a straight Telugu film. If we are to believe the buzz from the industry, Kamal’s direct Telugu film will in all probability be happening by end of this year. And the credit to bring Kamal back to Telugu screen will go to director N Shankar.
These speculations are flying high in Tollywood, especially after N Shankar was personally invited by Kamal Haasan to be part of his birthday celebrations. In fact, the director happens to be the only person from Tollywood to have got the invitation.
