Actor Jayam Ravi is acting in Samuthirakani's Nimirnthu Nil alongside Amala Paul. Buzz is that the film is about corruption in society, told in a lighter sense.
According to sources, Jayam Ravi will be seen in a dual role, but the director said it would be a different sort of characterization and deals with the realization of self, to a large extent.
Samuthirakani has been quoted as saying that Nimirnthu Nil would be a breezy film laced with commercial elements.
There has been a lot of talk about what director Bala's next project would possibly be. The industry has been agog with speculation and there were reports that he would do a film with Vikram in the lead.
Meanwhile, it is also being said that Bala would team up with popular writer S Ramakrishnan for his next project. It may be noted that the writer had penned the dialogues for Bala's Avan Ivan.
Ramakrishnan has said that nothing had been finalized and a few stories were being discussed.
Amy Jackson is busy working for Shankar's I. The actress is presently shooting for the film in Chennai.
The actress was quoted as saying that she was gearing up to shoot some emotional and important scenes and wanted to prepare well for it by rehearsing vigorously.
She said having done some homework ahead of the schedule, things were much easier for her. Amy said it was challenging to deliver the lines, especially with a variety of emotions and added that the director (Shankar) and the team offered a lot of support.
That Santhanam is a busy actor these days would be an understatement. He is almost everywhere and was part of the recent films Thillu Mullu in a cameo and a pivotal role in Theeya Velai Seiyyannum Kumaru.
He is also part of a few other projects too and it is emerging that his next film as a hero would be Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham. The film is supposed to be a remake of Telugu hit Maryada Ramanna.
