Vijay Sethupathy, The producer!

Actor Vijay Sethupathy who is riding high after the good show of the recent Pizza and Naduvula Konjam Pakkathai Kaanom, has a handful of projects in his kitty.

That apart, he is donning the role of a producer for a film which has him in the lead.

Sources said the actor has started his own production house Vijaysethupathy Film Production and has stuck a deal with JSK Film Corporation to produce the film titled Sangudevan under his home banner on a first copy basis.

Vanakkam Chennai teaser is out

The teaser of Kirutiga Udhayanidhi's directorial debut Vanakkam Chennai starring Shiva as the hero and Priya Anand in the female lead was released on Friday (April 19).

The film is a romantic comedy produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and the first look poster of the film was released some time ago. Shooting for the film is on track, while Anirudh of “Why This Kolaveri…” fame is scoring the music for the film.

Vijay Sethupathi with Krishna

Vijay Sethupathi of Pizza fame and Kazhugu star Krishna are set to team up for an action-packed romantic film on friendship.

The as-yet-untitled film will be produced by Hitesh Jhabak who has made movies like Nan Avan Illai, Anjathae, Mapillai and Poda Podi among others.

Jai Krishna, who has worked with Kamal Haasan, R K Selvamani and STR has written the story, screenplay, dialogues and will handle the direction too.
