Prithviraj as a theatre artist in Sudhi Valmeekam
After donning back to back police roles in Hindi and Malayalam, Prithviraj, who is currently busy with Memories and London Bridge, will play the role of a theatre artist in a film by director Ranjith Shankar titled as Sudhi Valmeekam.
Prithvi will be cast as a stage artiste named ‘Sudhi’, who is a member of a theatre group named 'Valmeekam'. The movie will throw light on the social issues and problems faced by the artistes in the society.
Anchu Sundarikal to release on June 14
After the path breaking anthology film Kerala Cafe which featured works of 10 directors, more and more films on the similar route are in making. Mollywood's first anthology of love stories, Anchu Sundarikal is one film that is eagerly awaited.

Vineeth will launch his younger brother Dhyaan as a lead actor through this film which is currently titled as Thira.

No simultaneous release of Malayalam films in Karnataka
The producers’ association of Malayalam has decided not to release any Malayalam films in Karnataka simultaneously as it is released in Kerala. It was found in the recent investigations that pirated copies of Malayalam films have been captured on mobile gadgets from theatres of Karnataka, which were appearing in the grey market within days of the movie's release.
Asif Ali to get married on May 26
The young star of Malayalam, Asif Ali will get married to Zama Mazr on May 26.
A native of Kannur, Zama is a degree student studying in Kozhikode. The wedding is expected to be a star studded affair, attended by the who’s who of Mollywood.
Even as his wedding approaches, Asif is busy shooting for his upcoming film Honey Bee in Lakshadweep.
