Mohanlal to act with Puneeth Rajkumar
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has confirmed that his next project will be a Kannada movie, co-starring Kannada superstar Puneeth Rajkumar.
“Hi friends my next project will be a Kannada movie along with Puneeth Rajkumar,” wrote the actor on his social networking page. Mohanlal had earlier played a cameo role in a 2004 Kannada film Love, which starred Aditya and Rakshitha in the lead roles.
Shobana in Kochadaiyaan
The new big budget movie from Rajinikanth Kochadaiyan will offer something special for Malayalees to cheer. The movie will have none other than Shobana as the heroine to the title character.
Superstar Rajinikanth will appear in a double role in this movie as ‘Kochadaiyaan’, the right hand of the emperor and his son ‘Rana’. Deepika Padukone will be paired to the other character, Rana.

Aashiq Abu dismisses rumours of marriage to Rima
“Though the hoax about my marriage with Rima was entertaining, but false. We love each other and will definitely let the world know when we enter wedlock,” wrote popular director Aashiq Abu on his social networking page, referring to the gossips doing rounds about the secret marriage between him and actress Rima Kallingal.
Aashiq maintained that since he was in a tour out of India, he couldn't get online for quite some days. This also created a lot of inbox messages following the stories about the marriage.
Indrajith and Lijo Jose team up again
Indrajith has been one actor who has supported young director Lijo Jose Pellissery, since his first film. And his consistent approval has proved lucky for the director in his third Amen which has now become a big hit.
Indrajith was also presented in a very different and loving role of Fr Vattoli in the movie which has earned him many new fans. Now the latest news is that Indrajith will continue doing the lead in Lijo's films and the fourth one in a row will be for his new titled as Disco, all set to start in a couple of months.
Fahadh walks out of Iyer in Pakistan
One of the most popular young actors of Mollywood, Fahadh Faasil has walked out of his new project titled as Iyer in Pakistan.
The movie was touted as the first full length humour film from the actor, but Fahadh maintains that when the scripts were complete, he couldn't find anything different in the script, and hence refused to do it. Instead, Fahadh has given an open date to its producer for any other project.
Jayasurya to start shooting for V K Prakash’s Thank You
After the critically acclaimed movies like Beautiful and Trivandrum Lodge, Jayasurya will once again team up with V K Prakash for the new film titled Thank You.
The movie which will start rolling in Thiruvananthapuram will have screenplay by Arun Lal who was the scribe for the thriller 10 30 AM Local Call. Also featuring Tini Tom, Sethu, Mridul, Mukundan, and Aiswarya Devan in important roles, Honey Rose is the heroine in the movie.
Sana Khan’s Climax to release this Friday
Following the super success of The Dirty Picture which narrated the story of Silk Smitha, another movie with a similar thread will soon be in theatres this week.
Climax from Anil, written by Kaloor Dennis, has Sana Khan donning the lead role. Produced by P J Thomas under the banner of Nice Movies, Climax will also have Suresh Krishna, Subin Sunny, Lakshmi Sharma, Irshad, Bijukkuttan, Manuraj, and Tamil actors Aravind, Ravikanth, and Tilak in the lead roles.
