Me and my frien had gone this movie 3 times in three consiqutive days , sat , sun , mon and with BLACK TICKET. On monday we flew away from class to watch the movie on a heavy rainy day. And we enjoyed the movie like first day . And we caught by cold fever, bt we are still discusing abt the movie on bed as we live in hostel. By this you can imagine how gud is this movie. VIKKRAM BHATT rocks, all characters are great, special credit goes to PANDIT JASHRAJ for a heart touching song VAADA at such a decent age, an special thumbs up to BICHHUA
Awesome Movie.Those who has Given this Movie below 4 stars Must be an insane , Lunatic ,Unsound Mind or a Documentary Movie Lover and I suggest them to stop misleading Others from watching this Movie.Vikram Bhatt is really good in directing Horror Movies.This Time he has surpassed His Own superHit Movie RAAZ.If Raaz scared You This will Kill you.1920 is Far superior Than Raaz.Strongly Recommended for all.

Movie manages to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout... the plot also evolves very well. There isn't a dull moment in this flick, which is usually typical in scary indian movies. Director Vikram Bhatt should keep at it, maybe teach a lesson or two to RGV. For once, special effects were actually well done!
P.S. - The possession is soo freaky!! :)) I loved it but was def. scared! And the ghost was too goooddd!
this film will be better than RAAZ and it will overcross the collection of RAAZ and the promos are too scary to watch and it will be the blockbuster and the birth of two newcomers
ADAH SHARMA and RAJNISH DUGGAL and obcourse director VIKRAM BHATT after a very long gap due to many flop films that he had direct but now he is back with the periodic horror movie which will chill down your spine in real not fake like RAMGOPAL VARMA`S phoonk.
This is fantestic movie and I would like to say about this movie that his one seen that i can never forget it's when actress clumbing up on the piller and was saying tik tok tik tok it was to horable and ameging.
Like any horror movie this one also open with a scene in which an extra/junior artist gets massacred or rather I should say butchered. Then it takes a romantic turn and reaches Mumbai; well good job by Vikrant Bhatt and his art director for showing trams on the streets of Mumbai. Yeah this effort is noteworthy throughout the movie he has paid special emphasis on the fact that the back drop should be of the 1920?s style even the mode of transportation in the remote place like Palanpur is shown as buggy and horseback. Although once you look at this place you can easily make out that it?s been shot in some European country and the haveli is nothing but some old knight?s castle. Any ways let?s stick to the topic. If you have seen exorcist then you can easily make out the striking similarities between some of the scenes. Some déjà vu sequences like the conflict of husband whether to take the Doctor?s advice or listen to a priest?s pleas that his wife needs god?s help and not a hospital. About performance Rajneesh Duggal has to work a lot on his acting, Adah Sharma looked pretty stiff when playing the character of Lisa (the normal one). But when it comes to play the character of the possessed girl; man she has managed to create the same magic like Urmila did in Bhoot. Direction is typical Vikram Bhatt style neither good nor bad but passable. There are a few scary shots which may not be very effective on small screen. So if you want the real adrenalin rush than better watch it on big screen. Just for the adrenalin rush otherwise it is advisable to wait for the DVD.
i saw this movie with my wife and we realy liked this movie the credit should be go to Adah sharma....great acting/performance...last week i saw the ramgopal verma movie phoonk and it was very bakwas and that time i was very upset..but now i am very happy because of this 1920 movie realy great movie..you should watch atleast once....
1920,the latest venture of vikram bhatt,who has made a horror last,raaz.the concept is not new but it is presented in a beautiful manner.the story is well written & the screen-play is very well designed.the dialouges are addictive.the direction is applaudable.the performance by rajneesh duggal is notewothy.he has the trappings of a fine actor.adah sharma is the scene stealer here.she gets the meatiest role and she does it very well.rajzutshi is another high point of the film.vallabh vyas is as usual.anjori alagh is different in the movie.the songs are average.overall 1920 delivers what it promises,eerie & scary moments aplenty.
I must say when i heard that Vikram Bhat is coming with a horror movie.... i was expecting much. but it was not up to the mark. The name of the movie was 1920 but the effects used were like the movie is being made in the year 1920. In the first half an hour I knew that this So-called spirit of Ghost wont let any body demolish that house. Some of the scenes were already being shown by some of Movies seen earlier, in fact it was a mixture of movies like The Exorcist, The Omen, Exorcism of Emily rose, The Constantine. The performance of Adah sharma was good, even Raj zutsi was good.... but i don't get one thing..... The priest was done with most of the exorcism when this possessed girl escaped but when the protagonist starts Hanuman Chaliya..... it makes that evil spirit go out of that possessed girl, and if it does why the spirit was waiting for him to complete Hanuman Chalisa n then he will leave the girl.........
It was hard to digest ... rest was finr. But I still say it could have been better... I was expecting much.
You will wait for the scary moment but this movie will deliver comic moments instead.The first half is extremely boring and its only the 2nd half in which the movie accelerates.The spirit dominates over adah sharma(the newcomer actress) which makes her do quite crazy things. Its a fantastic act by the newcomer.Its love vs evil.The past story is weird but the climax is very well treated.
I had seen this movie 3 times , on Sunday 14 sept , Saturday 20 sept and on Sunday 21 sept . And I enjoyed the movie like first day . And I liked it so much that I would like to see it again & again. By this you can imagine how gud is this movie. VIKRAM BHATT rocks, all characters are great, special credit goes to PANDIT JASRAJ for a heart touching song VAADA at such a decent age, an special thumbs up to BICHHUA& THEME MUSIC (especially the piano at the background)Newcomer Rajneesh Duggal as Arjun Singh Rathod & Adah Sharma as Lisa Singh Rathod are amazing , hats off to their acting . Even Barkha Bhist as Gayatri & Raj Zutshi as Priest were added flavour to the film.
