The story begins with Dr Pavithra (madhurima) who is known for her expertise in job and due to this, she is also a special consultant to the police department as she helps them in getting the truth out of the criminals with her innovative methods. She lives with her father (Vijayachander) who is a retired magistrate and also her sister's daughter. However, trouble comes to her in the form of her brother in law who is keen on having his daughter and Pavitra knows she cannot give the girl since her brother in law happens to be a drunkard. All this apart, there is also Bongarala Bujji (ajay) who is an assistant to the famous criminal lawyer Sri Krishna (suresh gopi) and both of them are busy in the case of acquitting a fake swamiji. Both Bujji and Pavitra's paths cross each other and they fall in love. Things change when Pavitra and her family members start getting troubled by an unknown person. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
