The story begins with Pradeep (Raja) and he chances upon Vaishnavi (Kamna) only to fall for her at the first sight. The regular chase sequences happen and finally Vaishnavi falls hopelessly in love with Pradeep. However, there is a problem. Vaishnavi's father Raghuram (Nagababu) is a strict man and hates the word of love, he has a strong flashback for that. Pradeep-Vaishnavi's love is spotted by Raghuram's friend in Bangkok and he passes on the news. However, Pradeep uses his brain and hatches a plan in such a way that his friend Shyam's (Ali) picture is sent to Raghuram. Meanwhile, he also devises a plan in such a way that his father (Nizhalgal Ravi) and his family meets Raghuram and his family and Raghuram is not aware that Pradeep is the man his daughter loves. All goes well and there comes a stage when Raghuram fixes up the wedding of Pradeep-Vaishnavi. However, a twist of tale occurs and the truth is revealed. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
