A comical thriller, Bhool Bhulaiyaa is about an apparently haunted house, cursed by Manjulika, a Bengali dancer.
Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) and his wife Avni (Vidya Balan) come back to India. Since Siddharth doesn't believe in ghosts he insists on staying in his ancestral home, the same one that is haunted. Is there really a ghost? If not, then who or what is causing the mayhem?
He calls his friend, a Psychaitrist, Aditya (Akshay Kumar) to help him in figuring out what is wrong with the place and take life back to normalcy. But things go from bad worse...
