Bhool Bhulaiya is an interesting thriller-comedy .
The film revolves around a small village where the people are very superstitious. Badri (Manoj Joshi) is the head of a Brahmin family whose ancestral palace is believed to be haunted.
One day, a young man named Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja) and his wife named Avni (Vidya Balan), the son and daughter-in-law of Badri's elder brother return to their native village from America.Events take on a twist when some unnatural events start taking place inside the palace. All the blame comes upon Radha (Amisha Patel), who is the adopted daughter of Badri.
But suddenly Dr. Aditya (Akshay Kumar), a psychiatrist from America, enters the scene. He is a friend of Siddharth and uses modern analytical techniques to find out the culprit behind the mystery. Will he be able to solve the mystery? Who is behind all this and what is his motive?
