A very well directed movie/Documentary
Feb 20, 2007

Author: Shantanu Compliment the user
Overall Rating
This film is more like a documentary, but I must compliment a very well directed one, Anurag Kashyap has given a very neutral point of view of the Bombay Bomb Blasts, the Mumbai riots and the demolition of Babri Masjid. There was absolutely no political angle in the film, that was what I liked about the movie. The director was successful in carrying forward the viewpoints of Tiger memon, Badshah, Dawood Ibrahim and the police commissioner, who has put in his heart and soul to crack the case in record time!

The movie is based on a book (Black Friday), and moves according to the chapters in the book, I havent read the book so I cant exactly comment on the point that has the movie done justice to the book. But I can surely say that this is a great movie or rather I should say a documentary!

A must see for everybody!

this is a superb movie and for once shows the hard work of bombay police. the actors are simply put, the best one could ask for. the music by Indian Ocean throughout the movie just tops the icing with a cherry. a must watch.
