The first half is boring, we see some action in the 2nd half but it hadly lifts you on the edge of your seat as it is supposed to have to do. Except Sabyasachi, rest of the cast is average. Parambrata makes monkey faces throughtout the movie, has no inkling what he is doing and takes part in no action and competes in act bad acting with Bhibu who is most scandalous with his lack of basic acting skills. Making faces replete with wierd expressions and mewing like a wet kitten might be his style of acting that need not be tolerated by the audience. However, a tight slap should be reserved to the old man who is in the role of the director. Wearing an askew hat and rotting teeth with many missing he looks like a cadaver that has started talking unexpectedly. Most the words he mouths escape due to missing molars and what you get is some mumjo-jumbo best understood by the director.
Sandip Ray is not even a small patch compared to the genius his father was. The only reason this pic was hit in Bengal is because ANYTHING is better than a movie staring chest-heaving duo of Praseenjit and Rituparna
