A regular tale, the story goes around Pragathi (krithi) who works with an NGO and wants to help the poor farmers. However, her father (ahuti Prasad) being a minister does not help and she decides to take matters in her own hands. She stages a kidnap drama so that ransom can be taken to help the farmers. However, things take a turn when she gets kidnapped by the goondas DD (sumanth) and Chinna (trinetrudu) on instructions from Das (jayaprakash) and Giri (tanikella). Their man goal is to set up a 'Pulihora; (lemon rice, mango rice) centre and hence all this. However, in no time DD falls in love with Pragathi and starts helping her out with her problems. What happens from there form the rest of the story.
