golden were the days when rgv ki factory could release films like company, now it seems that the factory is all up in flames due to "rgv ki aag" (pun intended :-)...
the story is simple and bit inspired from real life gangsters D and chota rajan, mallik (ajay) is an underworld don and chandu (vivek) is a small time goon who aspires to make it big in darker side of world... he joins mallik's gang and impresses all with his efficiency and becomes blue eyed boy of mallik... now circumstances force mallik and chandu to take head on with other gangs in mumbai and wipe them off... after that their gang is the only face of underworld and terror in mumbai... mumbai police is trying to nab them and leading the charge is mohanlal, who excels in his role... however the gang escapes to hong kong and starts operating remotely... later some confusion splits mallik and chandu and they are now after each other... the gangs split and what follows is an interesting story...
overall ajay, vivek and mohanlal excel in their roles... vivek debuted with this movie and i dont think a fresher could have asked for anything better... the story is gripping one and one gets hooked to it... narration in the backdrop makes it even more interesting... good direction... khallas girl isha koppikar debuted as item girl in this movie... overall a must watch from my side...
