Daraar is an another offering from the director duo abbas mustan, after baazigar Though the film takes a good start, but fails to hold the audience attention for two and half hours. Barring juhi chawla, who, with her acting skills tries to save this film that too to some extent but after some time even she could not save it . Seriously i did not like juhi mouthing themangalsutra dialogues which were looking a bit exaggerated did not suit her as well. This film had left audience wondering that juhi in this film could have filed a complaint against his pati if he used to beat her. Honestly i didnot like watching juhi chawla beaten up by arbaaz in this movie .it should not have been shown. I really wonder what censorboard was thinking, when the film was released .ok the film was focussing on domestic violence ,which is a serious and sensitive issue, but i guess it was good if the scenes were deleted the climax irks me a lot As for the heroes of this film juhi is the main protagonist and ya i can say she is the hero of this film not jst coz the story is about a female protagonist but coz juhi's acting holds the audience interest throughout the movie what can i say about our hero rishi he was looking like an uncle to juhi , somebody tell him not to dance and play father roles which suit him and arbaaz, god he cannot act and giving him the role like this was too early in his career . The story was not really new one it was like an old wine in the new bottle and in that respective year i believe so many films were made on a subject like this. if u really want to owe this film's dvd then it is no no. if u really are interesting in watching ,watch it only for juhi .Though iam not a fan of her, iam complimenting her all the way she deserves it actually. see this film and u too will agree with me
