It's Kamal hasan after all!

This movie was bound to get reviews on both ends of the road (as well as some inbetweens - mine perhaps). Can't neglect the super effect of super stars in Indian films can we?

Having said that, the base concept of the movie, relating the past to the present and the allmighty to the smallest, is quite interesting, very creative and has been presented in the film without loss of focus. The movie holds a lot of slap stick masala in it's good 3 hrs.

The story begins with a presentation of the belief that everything is connected. Every act, every body and every moment. As the story moves on, a series of events are unfolded which spread across a period of hundreds of years (I think), from the times of ancient India to the present. The usp is how these events, rather these dots, are connected to present a complete picture.

By connecting the series of events, the initial belief which reflected how everything is pre destined, is enforced again and thus the story teller validates his/her belief. Point in case.

Ofcourse, the story has taken a back seat in the movie, in the honor of "Kamal sir". Did I say the usp was the connecting dots - my bad. The USP ofcourse was that first time in the history, an actor was doing ten different roles in one film.

Well marketed and great attempt. And a successfull one at that - the box office has had a bash!

Whether I liked it or not, I'm not sure I'd like to discuss that. My review reserves it's right to express personal views :)

After all, it's Kamal hasan!! ;)
