De Dana Dan

This so called comedy flick by Priyadarshan had a sad presentation with a lot of confusion. The first half of the movie was very boring but  had some interesting scenes in the later half. There were many characters in the movie so it lacks clarity. After watching the trailer one would feel that it will be full of humor but it rather sounded meaningless at times.

It cannot be compared to the directors other hilarious films like Hulchul, Hungama and Chupchup ke. Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy do not have many good scenes.

Driver Nitin Bankar (Akshay Kumar) and courier boy Ram Mishra (Sunil Shetty) are under debt and therefore try to Kidnap there owners dog. The poor guys want to marry their girlfriends Anjali Kakkad (Katrina Kaif) and Manpreet Oberoi (Sameera Reddy) respectively.

Manpreet's father is getting her married to Chadda's son played by Chunky Pandey. All their relatives and friends are collected in a hotel for the wedding. And even Nitin and Ram come and hide in the sane hotel. During this time duration many misconception and fights take place.

The last scene of the movie where the whole hotel is flooded is worth watching. And there is a couple of other comedy scenes too. But there was nothing extra ordinary in the film, it continued with the same old boring sequence.

And Akshay and Katrina also could not set a good mark with their performances. Music by Pritam also lacked the uniqueness and only Paisa Paisa was the only good song. Rajpal Yadav, Archana Puran Singh and Paresh Rawal created good humor. Neha Dhupia looked hot and Johnny Lever's acting was worth acknowledging.

If you want to have some time pass then go and give it a try, but if you are seriously looking for something good then don’t break your head by going for this film.
