Of all devdas movies i liked this the most

ULTIMATE!!!!! the first word i thought of or came to my mind after watching this movie. I was so lost in the movie my friends have to shake me up to leave the the theatre.....but i jst didn't wanted to leave.....wanted it to go on....and on.....its been 2 weeks since i watched the movie.....bt can't stop thinking abt it......thats a little abt me.....now abt the movie..... First things first....SONGS.....all are superb.....perfectly placed...u can't even think there are 18 songs while you are watching the movie.....they just flow with the movie.....not like the other movies where u just jump to Switzerland or Australia from nowhere....STORY.....all know it vry well..right.....i thought the same......so i would suggest all to watch it to say abt the story...not jst relate it to or say "modern devdas".....one more thing...the real life incidents are connected very well.....ACTING....flawless.....Abhay Deol does the best role of his career....both leading ladies also did a splendid job. Finally i would say i was waiting for such a movie to be made in bollywood.....and now the wait is over.Thank you and Congrats Mr. Anurag Kashyap.

According to me "DEV D" tells us that how to make a boring script, presentable and interesting one too. Anurag, the director of the movie, had shown us his excellence in "black friday" and believe me he doesn't disappoint this time too. Its completely anurag's perception on sarat chandra chatterjee's story with many and good ammendments. With the unnoissyy and sausy music, the way in which characters are introduced is applausible. The camera work is excellent. The role of CHANDA played by newcomer kalki is very graceful in begining but gradually decraeses towards the end, PARO played by newcomer maahi is impressive but scene stealer dev played by abhay deol has done an award winning performance, the chunni character is funny and written wonderfully. I will not deny the slow pace of the movie in the second part in which the self destruction of dev is stretched like an elastic but that too is the demand of the script that can't be edited. so I will give 3 out of 5, a good rating for anurag's dev d. A must watch drama.

The movie is touted as a modern churning of DEVDAS ... somewhere it is veering from its main theme . Even though Abhay has given brilliant performance , not to forget THE PARO AND CHANDA . Director has carefully crafted the character of each actor. Movie HAS ALL MASALA blended to make the audiences setaed firmly on their seat. French actress aka chanda has garnered kudos and apni punjabi kudi paro is real macho girl to give the desi dialouges and scenes in a very professional way . Overall movie is worth watching ... hats off to Anurag and off course apna Lucky Abhay

most hopeless movie i have seen.. i bunked my paper for that to watced it .. and i was seriously shocked to see such a bakwaas... 1 star film.... bull shit.... don want to comment on it anymore.....

Well I was 2 excited @ this new age Devdas & now I can say that Anurag have adapted it flawlessly. Even one can say that he vanished the flaws from older (Boaring) versions of Devdas. Apart from that The Music given by Amit Trivedi is Literally Rockin'. His music plays a majour charector in movie 7 gives a speed 2 story. Saying @ acting Abhay is at his best. Mahi Gill as Paro is also justifying, Though I didn't like the girl who played Chanda. Cinemetography of movie is at High it makes movie a Eye Candy. I will recomend the every young turk 2 watch it out. It's awesome -naine

too much of dark ness and sex

On Friday morning I saw many mails floating around with subject "Dev D rated 5 on 5", so it was quite natural I had to go n watch the movie.... but 30mins after I was on my hot seat(in theater) I realised the movie was not worth more than 3.5 stars.... the story plots tries to define, rather it defines that Devdas's story is nothing but all about Drinks, love and lust....is it so ??? I image if Sarat Chandra was alive...he might had commited suicide after watching DevD. But when I turn around for acting and camera editings...I dnt have words to describe...its Awesome....really a very nice work done by the team.
