A very good, modern adaptation of devdas. Depicts the modern youth, their views and thinking on love and life. The whole society has been changed in the recent years. It's a good film overall.

Just Watched DEV D-- Heady cocktail of Vodka+ women+Heavy desi RRock...all in cheap hotels...(Amit Trivedi's music is refreshing...atleast not a copycat of some KOrean band)...complete emotional brainless mayhem..EMOTIONAL ATYACHAAR...i managed 2 come out unscathed but not without feeling myself drunk.....head spinnning ..blue n red lights burning in the head..STATUTARY WARNING: STAY AWAY..untill you are an ABHAY D fan(with big F)...or better still u really want 2 punish urself fr some unpardonable sin...Anurag's gone crazy after that Black Friday...

Dev D is full of great performances. Abhey Deol has done a remarkable role with excellent acting. Both the new comer actresses, has also justified their roles in the movie.
