four friends, small skits and greed ................

add lot of thappads, many red faces and one or two good comic scenes; wind it up with sob stories of orphans and than show that these greedy fellows who broke their friendship cus of money are really angels-hearted morons.

A perfect non stop nonsense movie for the ones who believe in lateral thinking.

Personally i hate it coz of the factor that it contains lot of thapadbaazi ,i guess boys laugh with their " cheeks paining "because they can assosiate with the characters and other nonsense

i prefer priyadarshan comedy any day to this kind of nautanki

u actually dont like comedy movies so dont watch them oke and dont make any reviews like that RIcha.

i beg ur pardon............ u r deviating from the whole issue which is slap stick comedy Vs situational comedy by belitting priyadarshan dhamal is not going to get into oscar award category!!!!!!!!! have sportsman spirit

Yes infact I agree with dinrat, Priyadarshan is a fraud who copies Malyalam movie, all his major hits had been hits in Malyalam Cinema as well. The attempts he did in making an original films were disasters (Garam Masala, Phir hera pheri) And now coming to Dhamaal, I think this is an awesome family entertainer! no indecent dialogues, all clean comedy! A great movie. I would give a 4 star to it!

i also loved the movie, i dont think it was the thappads which generated the laughs (or the cheek pains for that matter :-)... the movie was a clean comedy and a good continuous skit... on a related note, we had an interesting thread on credits of priyadarshan long back and finally it had turned out that he is a major bluff and all his critically acclaimed as well as commercially hit movies are remakes of hit movies in south... as a director he should not get the credit... and besides among his comedies only hera pheri is a true classic but that also is just another remake...

interesting ! I loved the movie.. The stop stories of orphans and the angel heartedness of the chaps was just the end - (barey 4-5 minutes) .. I agree lots of thappadbazi - but the reasons for the thappadbazi were okay and funny .. I am not sure If I liked it cuz I could associate with the character . how can anyone connect with any of those character - that would be a real life disaster :) I found it much better than say garam masala - a priyadarshan movie ...
