"Dhokha " is the story of a couple set on the backdrop of terrorism . The story is basically about an honest police officer Zaid Khan who loses his pregnant wife Sarah in a bomb blast . He was completely shattered by the accident. But what he did not know was that it was just the begginning of his tragedies.
theFurther investigation into the matter comes up with evidences which indicate that Sarah was not a victim rather she is the one who caused the bomb blast . She was in fact a suicide bomber.Zaid Ahmed faces the accusation of being the husband of a terrorist and loses his job. Initially he didnot believe the fact but soon it is revealed that the indications were not wrong. He is obviously bewildered with the situation. He decides to get to the root of the truth and gradually finds out the reason that led his loving and pregnant wife to become the reason of death of so many people.
Actually it was Sarah's tragic past that led her in thorny paths of terrorism. And she was not the only one.Her teenager brother Danish was also ready to follow her path. Will Zaid Ahmed be able to stop him from meeting his dreaded consequence? Will Zaid be able to wash off the stigma from his character forms the rest of the story.
The story was defiinitely a good one. Its not like any other normal police-terrorist story that we find in other bollywood movies. The movie is the portrayel of the burning issue of terrorism from the perspective of both the victims and the terrorists. The movie shows that why a normal human being gets transformed in to a man killing device. What are the circumstances that causes them to do so?
And believe me one would actually like to sympathise with the terrorists after watching the movie. There is a short verbal confrontation between Zaid's character and the head of the terrorist organisation in the movie which I feel is the best scene in the movie because it leaves you thinking for a while. And it leaves with impression that its the circumstances and injustice which is actually responsible for all the violence.
Mujammil Ibrahim was good in his role and was quite matured as a Newcomer. But I dont know why I felt as if I was watching John Abraham in his first role. Probably there is a strange similarity in both of their style of acting. Tulip Joshi was also okayish. Ashutosh Rana was definitely successful in his short role as he really makes you hate him in the movie. In short I would like to recommend everyone to watch the movie at least once.
