If you have a taste of Prakash Jha movies and u like 'hip hip hurray' and and other movies of this sort ,this is a movie for u.

Superficially it revolves around politics and sex ( a lethal combo) but deep down it is really about the clashes of two world ;one is old and the other still in nascent stage thus rootless and aimless.Shreyas talpade reminds you of every-small- town- college- student-  leader ( believe me i have seen enough) who are idealistic and great attraction to sophisticated girls because of their rough and rogue ways!!

Imaad ,(i cant really understand the charater) represent the new gen which thinks everything revolves around sex. Smriti mishra after long time is back as a uncouth prostitute.

The movie grows on you ,,and with objective perspective potrays gen-next as newly-evolved hippies of 70s.

Watch this movie if you are from the backwaters and it will definately make you miss your college days!!!

Well the movie is all about a simple plain life stories which just revolves around us in daily life but hardly noticed with absolute minute details, putting the across over the silver screen was just simply superb.

It does not have a glamour’s story like a bollywood movie would do but a view of college life in there own perspective is put across.

Characters

Apurv (Imaad Shah) very understated polished yet without a clean look knows what he wants in certain perspective, rejects big time opportunities because he has options and still can choose amongst many more endless opportunities, and if it’s about sex most of the time in his mind that is what inside in young college guys.

Sanjay Mishra (Shreyas Talpade) Bihari lad, as usual fighting to get into politics have values in him but never leave chance to lead; according to him you have to make the move first always, still holding his root values. Nice act

Prerna (Nikita Anand) Not much super imposed character a somewhat high society perspective for life, to go on without boundaries. Not shy enough to love some simple village guy, maybe its just a time phase for the character.

Kintu (Ishita Sharma) A school girl looking for boyfriend or maybe in competition with friends to get one, just trying to move with the time flow, no strings no bullshit.

But three things I liked in this movie (as its in movie)

Have you ever put everything of yours in bet?

Cynics will always be there.

When you are young you believe the possibilities are endless (and off course they are)
