SRK was in his imperial best in this 2006 remake of the origin classic of Amitabh Bacchan.I loved the film for its style.
The climax was a shocker and a complete novelty in Bollywood.
Music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy was spot on and so as the ensemble star cast.
Apart from SRK it was also a Boman Irani
the grace with which he portrayed Inspector Desilva was one of the highlights of the film.
Finally commenting on Farhan Akthar,
he has come up with something to watch out for especially after the effervescent Dil Chahta Hai. Though it can't be compared with the original, its a film that keeps you glued to the seats for the entire 2 and a half hours.
Waiting impatientially for its sequel iI bid adieu.
It's a pretty good movie and a good remake. SRK proved himself that he can do any role; including a Don.
This movie wasn't great, but you couldn't get bored at any scene. I rate the movie 6.5/10.
SRK, you are great entertainer but please remember that you cant even come into consideration with Actors(yes, Amitabh n all does something called Acting).
So dont mess wid classics again n just keep enterataining. Maybe you are the best there!!
I love the music because I have got Main Hoon Don as my ringtone! It has spiffing action scenes mainly with SRK! I like the bit when Don hits the guy in the forehead with the golf ball; now that's a good shot!
