I know i am writing this pretty late but guys anytime you watch this movie its worth watching it.Am i talking in circles? coz the plot itself moves in this hilarious and eventful circle.
As abhay muses in the climax 'Dhai ghante mein life badal gayi' throws the light on the crux of the movie.It do have shadows of 'Waisa bhi hota hai 'and 'Is raat ki subah nahi'.The plot is about the one night in mumbai and protogonists'encounter with police and mafia alike.
The movie could have been better with little more tight editing and screenplay.Neha Dhupia as a bindaas prostitute was very average in performance, Abhay is good and so was the rest of the cast.
See this for its thrilling story which keeps audience anxious and on the edge. some scences arrrrrrrrrrrrre hilarious.
awesome raw comedy...

the movie is a raw comic-thriller and total unpredictable story... i think youngsters and college goers would love it... the movie is story of one nite (actually 2.5 hrs)... abhay misses his last local and gets stranded in the nite... autos are on strike... he meets neha who has also missed the last local... they decide to spend the 2.5 hrs in a bar... what happens next is a series of events which completely change the course of story from time to time... u just cannot think what is going to happen next and movie maintains it very well till the end... pretty decent performances by abhay/ neha... crisp dialogues... the pure rawness of movie is just awesome... though i missed the title track of the movie... looks like it was only for promos...

Remake of "pulp fiction". Fast moving movie . Abhay Deol, Ashok Samarth (Malvanker) played good roles.
Neha Dhupia was again not upto the mark, I think she will mature in another 7-8 years, she has lost of potential.Ponappa, Bhujang, Tavde, Naidu, Habiba, Mangesh Chilke all were apt in there roles. These little individual performances lifted the movie.
Locations were shady as expected. Surely not a family movie, no romance, no goodie, goodies scenes. Everytime somebody is in trouble.
Lots of gross dialogues and scenes.

ECKLL is a fast moving thriller. Its a story about a guy (abhay deol) , girl (neha dhupia), their missed local and then .. well I would go into any more detail - its gonna ruin your movie. But the story is awesome .. There are so many turns, twists. Movie always remains unpredictable. Its engrossing.
At the same time it has comedy.. the potrayal of abhay deol as a boasting dilliwala is great . His thought process is fun ..
Other parts of the movie - acting , screenplay, dialogues are all great !
Overall a must watch.
Watch it with friends only - its gross inbetween...
Most hilarious movie of its time.

ohmegosh,movie is fundoo.Dont go by the reviews by rediff or indiafm,u gotta see the movie to rate it.the Plot is just amazing,the treatment is just wonderful,The screenplay is great,the dialogues are catchy.u wont feel bored for even a single second,
*Performance wise its good to see Abhay Deol,as its very natural.he does not effort to act hard but still looks so obvious,his comic timing is just perfect.
*Even Neha Dhupia looks gorgeous, well defined and very sexy.
*All the villain gang looks good.
*Dialogues are spontaneous and makes u laugh big time.
*Movie does not have full time song,However there are few lines in background.
*Movie maintains a decent pace,and does nt let u down at any point of time.
*Too many of funny sequences keep u engage at your seat.
*Wat else folks,go and watch the movie if u really want to have a great time and get ur gang along to enjoy it even more.
