 yet another great one from Anurag Sir. i think he is in this tremendous process of taking Hindi movie making to the next level. a lot of us have been waiting to see pure unexplored emotions being portrayed on screen , from every nook and corner of India ...from pan shop in the corner of a chwak , in a joint family , in hostels , highway hotels , in brothels , in covert activism , in the doodh wala's mind , in a prostitute's love , in the actions of a crazy literati , in the eyes of a "idiot"(for the earthly world) ...... to be very frank , i watch a movie to see characters ..both original and imaginary ... and Gulaal has offered distinct characters in plenty ... a lot of witty comic situation and wonderful lyrical approach in dialogs made the movie close to my heart .my favorite character is Prithvi Singh , played by Piyush Mistra ....i can watch this movie again again to watch Prithvi Singh ....
