Samir Karnik- Does any one remember Kyon Ho gaya Na and Nanhe Jaisalmer? With such a stong lineup of cast, the expectations were high and must tell, was not dissapointed. A novel concept very aptly handled.Screenplay,Music,Editing,Direction all A Grade. Entire cast was very good in their brief appearance and Priety, Salman Khan and Mithunda were the best among all. Special mention, Master Dwij Bhardwaj. There are certain moments which can give you goose bumps and moist eyes and the director can get full marks for that. Talking of the performances, Sohail Khan looked misfit for the roll as he seemed too old for the character and he cant carry off an emotional scene too well. Sunny Deol again was at his natural best ( avoid the tiles breaking scene). Overall a good story told brilliantly. Samir has moved into the big boyz league with this movie.

This is huge freak out as it is a requiem for the Bollywood heroes as well as a maladjusted bereavement reaction for the war martyrs of Indian army.

It is also a huge speech full of terrible dialogues dressed as patriotic philandering which leave you hilarious with an abject affect and baffle you to as where and when will the drama appear and the sermon stop.

It also has Sunny Deol as the Indian ninja playing a double amputee who is a war hero and victim living in a mansion with a Shilpa Shetty lookalike girl friend Hrishita Bhatt and beating the hell out of the army of foreign white villains who try to ravage his girl in a Punjabi disco in Chandigarh, that he beats 50 boys all alone, without both legs is no surprise, I think he could beat the Tamil tigers blind folded.

Mithun plays the frustrated Mr.Naqvi who had a son who went to war as a good Indian Muslim and died while recording his great sacrifice on an audio-tape himself.

Mr Naqvi also likes to play baseball in Chandigarh, while his wife plays bridge in a club to forget her sorrows.

I have never seen anything so lugubrious, tell-tale and minus sympathy which reduces the state of poor bereaved families of the war dead to a jocular inanity.

It is a true travesty and mocking the sorrow of those people to dress this with 2 non-actors as an Indian remake of Gael Bernals Motorcycle Diaries while the 2 boys pursue an adventure on 2 modern bikes and a canon webcam in a kind of horror war docu-drama with infantile acting, overtly bad direction and monologues for dialogues which last 5 minutes in the least form.

Mithun plays Mr. Naqvi and there is a kohl adorned Salman Khan who has a kid with Miss Zinta, who weeps all the time like it was monsoon in India-do not worry Salman has a double identity-he pops back in the most hilariously bad scene of the year.

A hilariously bad exorcism of Bollywood heroes reduced to zeroes.

PS. I have taken this 2 review usman khawjas blog new york times- some people used to say that usman khawaja only write good thing for mithun movies-just to show that usman khawaja and my self we dojt write good things about mithun movies too.. heroes mithun is crap..
