Hey Babby
I am writing the esoteric significance of this movie. The actual story is very simple copied from holly film ‘ Three men and a baby’. This Holly film I saw some 20 years ago I guess – at that point of time it would have been blasphemous to show that a Mother figure Indian woman had slept before wedlock and had got pregnant ! People then would have stoned the Movie halls. But now Indians have become more broad minded – Thanks to TV and several foreign channels – bole toh Bay Watch and Fashion TV – they are speedily unlearning Indian culture and are dying to become western slum vultures !
So the esoteric significance is as follows :
Duruyodhana (Duru), Dushasana (Dush) and Jarasand (Jara) are as usual – born to mediocre uncultured parents who never taught them the essence of culture, heritage, tradition and respect for women. Thus being born to spineless ,selfish, demonic parents (just as they had been in one of their previous births) they grow up to be cheats, frivolous, self centered, wasteful and spineless whore mongers. They all are NRIs living in Australia.
When they attain financial independence and have enough money to hire the services of ‘available game girls’ – who in their previous births were probably the Sex maids, courtesans to entertain the Kings and Prince, kinds of Surpanakhas, Mandodaries, Mantharas and their kith and kin – they do so randomly and each one at least use the ‘sexual services’ of more than 50 girls ! (there was a scene where they actually count the girls they had humped).
In comes the Heroine among the ‘game girls’ – Surpanakha. Now one may ask me how is she the heroine. Well folks – in Ramayana – only a single episode of Surpanakha (Soopy)has been put forth – where she is actually responsible for bringing an end to her brother Ravana’s empire. If you all keenly observe – she was quite a bold damsel – loitering alone in the dense forest –looking for what?
Preys? Poor thing fell for the good looks of Shri Rama – and then rest is history…mythology…whatever ! Anyways so Duru meets Soopy in a marriage party and falls for her charms. Another one of her friends also falls for Duru’s charms but Duru was more interested in ‘bedding’ her first. He thus challenges his friend and says that he will surely manage to bed her.
Now Vidya Balan – aka Soopy in her very first movie (Parineeta) had done this ‘hit’ scene of copulating with Saif during a marriage ceremony going on in the house ! With so many people around – how people manage to escape the eyes of guests for a ‘hump’ session if really bewildering to me – we have attended marriages as well – and we were all so busy looking after the guests…anyways – I guess rich people hire the services of caterers and servants so that the girls of the family are free to select ‘hump’ partners for themselves for a ‘quicky session’ !
So Duru (Akshaya) manages to floor Soopy and they ‘jump nude on bed’.
They part ways. But Soopy comes back to give Duru a surprise – only to see him being molested by her another friend. Before he could ward her off his body – Soopy sees it and leaves in a huff. Misunderstanding. Sob – sob – tearful goodbyes. She was expecting a pure virgin NRI living in Australia actually. Sob sob.
Soopy finds that she is pregnant – and in spite of knowing that it was the whore monger’s sperm that had fertilized her ovum accidentally – she still decides to keep the baby !! – you see bold girls are also dumb girls ! Now Soopy’s father (Boman Irani) – who himself was not a very good family man – slept around with girls as young as his daughter
– well yes – like father – like son-in-law too - comes to know all about it . So when the baby is born, he informs Soopy that a ‘still’ (dead) baby was born to her.
And he keeps the baby at Duru’s front door. When the 3 friends open the door – they see this baby girl and are confused about it. Then they show things like how difficult it is to bring up a baby – washing potty and pissy. Fed up of looking after her – staying awake at nights and losing their jobs , they decide to dispose off the baby and keep her in front of the Church. But no one takes her in and they found her drenched and down with fatal pneumonia. They rush her to the hospital and regret their move.
They realize how precious a child becomes and they wish that she does not get a man in her life like them – oh! what a touching scene !! Self realization kind of thing happens to them and they become very fond of her. They go and apologize to the girls they had slept with and blah blah.
Anyways Boman tells Soopy that her daughter is alive. Soopy takes away her daughter from them. They start missing her. Soopy puts her foot down and goes away. She comes back and says that the baby needs a father figure as well. Happy ending.
PS: In real life – as flirtatious men as them would have disposed her off to the nearest orphanage. Such debauch men and shameless women donate heavy charity to the orphanages because they know that children born to their kind of people only mostly land up in orphanages !
In one of the scenes, Jara’s ex hump partner is shown getting married to a complete cartoon character – a silly looking gay creature (Mastkalandar song)….this shows that ‘bold’ girls usually land up with cartoon characters for the rest of their lives – so girls give up being so crassi-ly bold – there’s still time….
