A remade tale, the story is about two individuals with differing mentalities, while the first one is Mallikarjun (Jagapathi) who is desperate to become a cop, on the other hand there is Chandrasekhar (J D) who hates the police. Malli almost makes it to the police force but is not taken at the last spot, however the tough and honest cop Viswanatham (Pradeep Rawath) notices the fire in him and gives him special training and takes him as an undercover cop. On the other hand, Chandu finds asylum with the dreaded villain Jawahar alias Daddy (Mahesh Manjrekar) and he breeds him to get into the police department and become his informer. Meanwhile, Mallik joins Daddy's gang and becomes his key trust aide and in return he is passing information to the cops about Daddy's movement. Soon, the truth is out there are informers at both ends and the hunt begins to trace out the real culprits. On the love side, there is Dr Lakshmi (Mamata) who is the one for Malli while Satya (Madhurima) becomes the one for Chandu. What happens from there, do they get to know who the rat in their gangs is? Is Mallik's struggle for identity successful? All this forms the rest of the story.
