A lonlely nigh; a comfortable house; a charming girl alone in it.. Rekha switches in the radio for music, and hears instead that a lunatic murderer has escaped from the mad-house. The door bursts open and Dilip Roy enters. That is when a chance enconter turns a quiet night into a nighmare. Rekha is reduced to a prisoner in her own house. Roy too has no alternative. This is the first house which comes his way while he is on the run from the police. For him it is a lucky conincidence to find a lonely girl, a safe refuge. He starts out to terrorise her, but soon turns sympathetic. He proposes to leave early in the morning and Rekha feels it's better to pass the few hours till morning quietly.
